Notable books of 2020

No point commenting on the year itself except to say that because of covid19, our libraries closed with not much notice, and I had no stockpile of books. I was forced therefore to look at ebooks as an option, one I had long ago decided was not for me. I found that while my preference is still hard copy books, there are lots of things I liked about ebooks. So it is that for the first time some ebooks made this list. Even more interesting is that because I am too cheap to pay for an ebook, both ebooks on this list were free!

If interested in any of these titles you can “google” them for a complete description and revue

1. Bushrunner - Mark Bourrie

2. Land of Wolves - Craig Johnson

3. Who Speaks for the Damned - C.S. Harris

4. Where the crawdads sing - Delia Owens

5. The Guardians - John Grisham

6. Maids of misfortune - M. Louisa Locke (ebook)

7. Fortune's Son - Jennifer Scoullar (ebook)

8. Squeeze me - Carl Hiaasen

9. The Innocents - Michael Crummy
